Introduction:  Prabhu Patil  was working as a Director at Siemens AG. He is graduated with First Class with Distinction in MBA from University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. He also possesses Master of Engineering in CAD/CAM from PSG Institute of Technology, Coimbatore. 

He has served as VP Public Relations at Dearborn Toastmaster club (1998-99). He has received awards for "Competent Toastmaster Award", "International Speech Contest", and "District Public Relations Contest" at International Toastmaster Club. He is also member of CAD, Marketing, Consulting, High Tech clubs at University of Michigan.

Prabhu has 6 years old daughter Riya, 4 years old son Rohan and a loving wife Ashwini. Currently, Ashwini is working as a Lead Information Technologist at Polk Company, Southfield. Responsibilities: As a President, Prabhu presides over all meetings of the Board and of members. He actively manages the VSNA Detroit chapter and responsible for all orders and resolutions carried out by the chapter. 

Vice President : Dr. Chandramouli

Introduction: S. Chandra Mouli M.D. came to the United States on June 27, 1971. He graduated from Bangalore Medical College in 1969. He is an American board certified diagnostic and neuroradiologist. He was trained at Michael Reese hospital and Northwestern University in Chicago, IL. He has been in the radiology practice since 1977. He has co-authored a textbook on angiography of the body.

He has served as Chicago chapter secretary, vice president, and president for two terms. He was the chairperson for 1999 Chicago VSNA convention. He is on the Board of Directors for central VSNA.

Dr. Chandra Mouli is married to Rajini and they have a 27-year old son, Sandesh, a 24-year old son, Ashwin, and a 23-year old daughter, Shruthi. All his children are Northwestern University graduates and majored in Economics.

He grew up in Bangalore and comes from a large family of eleven children, some of who also live in the U.S.

Secretary : Raj Adapur

Introduction:  Basavaraj Adapur is working as a Manager at Yorozu America Corp and is responsible for managing ERP , CAD and Network support. He has Master of Science in Industrial Engineering from Alfred University, Alfred, New York.

He has served as a President of Detroit VSNA chapter from 2000--2002
Basavaraj has 4 year old daughter Disha and a loving wife Seema.

Responsibilities: As a Secretary, Basavaraj assist President in conducting BOD meeting and any responsibilities assigned by President.

Introduction:  Uma is a scientist at the University of Michigan. She did her PhD in one of the reputed institutes in India, Central Food Technological Research Institute, Mysore. She was awarded nationally competitive fellowships from the Center for scientific and Industrial Research, India; and the Canadian cystic fibrosis foundation, Canada during her doctoral and post-doctoral training respectively.

She has served in the Toronto chapter for VSNA as an executive committee member, treasurer, vice president and president. While she was at Toronto, she was actively involved in teaching the Principles of Basavanna and Kannada to the VSNA children. She organized children's religious programs regularly. She also organized and choreographed a skit "Anubhava Mantapa" in the 2000 VSNA convention, which won the rolling trophy. She is committed to serve as a treasurer for Central VSNA for the next two years. She currently resides in Ann Arbor, Michigan with her husband, Sadananda Murthy, an engineer. They have a 16-year-old daughter Rachana and a 12-year-old son Rohan.

As a treasurer of Central VSNA, Uma Sajjan will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date account of all receipts and disbursements. She will deposit all funds and other valuable assets in the name of Central VSNA as approved by Board of Directors. She will make prompt disbursement as and when directed by Board of Directors.
