Srishail Kumar Hadimani has been part of the VSNA community residing in Milwaukee, WI for over 22 years. He has served VSNA Chicago Chapter as a President (2011-12), Central VSNA as Board of Director (2015-18), Director of VIRC (2015-18) and Editor of Bandhavya newsletter. He is very passionate about the Basava Philosophy and delivers invited lectures on various topics associated with the Lingayat Spiritual Philosophy and conducts Linga Pooje and Meditation sessions around the world. In the true spirit of Jnana Dasoha, he runs a school “Jnana Jyoti Vidyalaya” in his native village in Karnataka State, India, and provides transportation, education and school supplies to over 330 children. After completing his Ph. D. from IIT – Bombay, Srishail has been working in Scientific R & D in the Pharmaceutical industry for over 3 decades. He is an accomplished Scientist with over 50 US Patents and 35 World Patents to his credit. In addition, he has published several research publications and scholarly articles in reputed Scientific Journals. He currently holds a senior management position in a Pharmaceutical Company. He is happily married to Shilpa and is blessed with two daughters- Anisha and Anvita. He loves to play the Sitar instrument and offers concerts in his leisure.
Rajendra Galagali has been part of VSNA community residing in VA and DC area for over 20 years. He has served VA and DC Chapter as President and Central VSNA as a Board of Director (2017-18). He is also the chair of the 43rd VSNA Convention going to be held in Washington DC on July 3rd and 4th in 2020. He has worked alongside and led diverse set of people at VSNA and other non-profit organizations and communities. He strongly believes that the core values and teachings of Basava philosophy are time tested and will hold true for generations to come. He is keen to work with the members across all of our chapters to further promote the mission and vision of VSNA and make this organization relevant to the needs and aspirations of its members in North America. Raj holds an MBA from Duke University and Engineering from Karnataka University. He presently holds a management position in a cybersecurity startup. He is married to Rajeshwari and is blessed with two daughters Reva and Richa.
Shivakumar Patil has been part of VSNA community residing in NY and NJ area for over 22 years. He has served New York and New Jersey Chapter as a President (2014-16), Central VSNA as a Board of Director (2013-14) and 39 th VSNA Convention Chair at New Jersey (2015). He has played important roles in establishing Texas North (Dallas) and PA – East (Philadelphia) Chapters. He was associated with VSNA MD, Texas and NJ chapters as a volunteer and Treasurer. Shiva is an ardent follower of Guru. Basava and contemporary Sharanas teachings and actively participates in the spiritual discussions. After completing his Ph. D. from Mangalore University, India, Shiva has been working in Pharmaceutical industry. He presently holds a Sr. Director of Clinical Pharmacology and Pharmacometrics position with a Global Pharma Company. He manages a large group with an annual budget of over 125 million dollars. He is married to Dr. Geeta and is blessed with two daughters Dr. Mangala and Deepa.
Jayashree Jagadeesh and her family are actively involved in various activities of VSNA both at the Chapter level and at the Central administration for the last 28 years. She has served as MD chapter Vice president and President (1999-2002), BoD member and BoR member (2015-18). She was instrumental in hosting a most successful, well-attended, vibrant and much-disciplined Convention of 2005 as a Convention Chair. She was the guiding spirit and pioneered the youth activities that motivated youth to conduct the entire program at the 2016 VSNA Convention held in Maryland. She is the frontline soldier for all the MD chapter activities; as a lead in conducting Linga Pooje in all chapter events and cooking Prasad for all the attendee in the true spirit of Dasoha. Jayashree holds a Master’s Degree and currently serving National Institutes of Health as a Scientist. She was instrumental in introducing many VSNA youths to the NIH internship programs. She is happily married to Dr. G. Jagadeesh. Their children are very active in VSNA. Daughter, Shilpa Jagadeesh has won the youth award at the NY convention, in 2003; and their son, Neetal, was a youth leadership board president for 4 consecutive years. They owe it all to VSNA for the nourishment which turned them to be two successful young adults.
Shylendra Kumar has been part of VSNA community living in Northborough, MA for over 26 years. He is an ardent believer of Basvanna’s principle “Kayakave Kailasa”; He is serving Central VSNA as a member of Board of Regents since 2015. Professionally, Shylendra is a Serial Entrepreneur, Innovator, Technologist, and Domain Expert with 25+ years’ experience in the Life Sciences industry. He is currently working as Director of Technology Solutions at IQVIA. Shylendra was the Founder, President and CEO of two successful ventures: ACUTA, LLC. (2012) & Datafarm Inc. (2007) both were subsequently acquired by IQVIA (2018) and Liquent, Inc. (2010) respectively. Shylendra has a Master’s degree in Public Health from Boston University and a Master’s degree in Social Sciences from Bangalore University. Shylendra is married to Madhu Kumar, and is blessed with two daughters Manisha Rajaghatta and Ruchitha Rajaghatta. The family believes in “Dasoha” and have established “Rajaghatta Family Charitable Trust” in 2018 with half a million Dollars to assist and serve the people in need around the world.
Dr. Gowraganahalli Jagadeesh has been actively associated with VSNA community residing in Maryland for the last 28 years. He has served as two term MD chapter president (2008 - 11), BoD member (2006-07). He was instrumental in hosting a most successful, well-attended, vibrant and much-disciplined Convention of 2016 as a Convention Chair. He was the recipient of the prestigious VSNA Outstanding Service Award (2018). He is highly influenced by Guru Basaveshwara’s teachings for his brilliant mentorship in molding downtrodden and illiterate persons to learn and write sophisticated scriptures. His favorite vachanas are those emphasizing that ‘our actions should match our words and we must balance our speech with our deeds’. Dr. Jagadeesh holds a doctorate degree in Pharmacology. He has contributed immensely in the Pharmacological Teaching and Research for over 4 decades in India, Canada and US. Currently, he is serving the US Food and Drug Administration as a Senior Expert Pharmacologist. In addition, he is highly involved in Scientific Philanthropy promoting academic excellence in research and teaching in Indian Universities / colleges along with aiding a school in his native village. Dr. G. Jagadeesh is married to Jayashree and is blessed with two children Shilpa and Neetal.
