Friday, July 3rd --- 9:00AM – 3:30PM 

Have you ever wondered what it would be like to compete in the TV show The Amazing Race? Or have you dreamed of becoming a secret agent in this lifetime? Stop wondering and make it a reality at this year’s VSNA 2009 Youth Retreat: “cHI-Life”.

Storm the streets of Chicago’s downtown and explore this beautiful city while solving clues in the shortest amount of time to win the race against other VSNA youth and young adults (ages 15+). This will be a great opportunity to make new friendships, rekindle old ones, all while experiencing this beautiful city (home to the Chicago Bulls, deep dish pizza, and the Second City Comedy Club). The final clue of the scavenger hunt will reveal the celebration hot spot where we will have lunch, and prizes will be rewarded to the winning team.

Afterwards, we will head to Millennium Park to enjoy the outdoors, play some games to get to know each other, and work on a small community service project. We will return to the hotel by 3:30pm in time for the evening cultural program.

Saturday, July 4th 1:00 – 2:30PM

Interactive youth workshop focused on how Veerashaivism plays a role in our day-to-day lives. 

9 PM onwards, for ages 21+, we will head downtown to experience Chicago’s buzzing nightlife. Put on your dancing shoes and dress to impress.
