Program Details

Business Forum – Program Details:Keynote speakers will address from the main

convention hall.  Parallel breakout sessions will take place in different conference  

rooms on some of the following segment tracks.

·     Parallel Segment Tracks:Identify 5-6 segments/tracks from the following depending on the demand. Committee will prepare the Business Forum objectives and goals including panel members, keynote speakers and Q&A. Publish detailed business forum program.

o IT/Services

o Infrastructure

o Healthcare- EMR /Pharma

o Retail

o Manufacturing

o Education

o Tourism/Industry

o Renewable energy

·     

Sample Segment Details:

o Federal Stimulus Program: American Recovery and Reinvestment Act to create 3.5million jobs – How this will influence entrepreneurship in these Turbulent Times on Infrastructure, EMR and Renewable energy areas.

o Education:What opportunities exist to serve our communities here and in India in the area of profit/non-profit education segments? How can Education, Rural

Development and Panchayat Raj ministries help our members to contribute in this segment including adopting villages in India and dealing with bureaucracy?

o Business plans, Exit policy, Pitfalls and Lessons Learned: Leaders are welcome to share their experience.

o Technology Transfer, Healthcare, Manufacturing and Incubation Centers: Leaders are welcome to share their experience.

·     VSNA Chamber of Commerce & Directory: Publish a directory of "Who’s who" of all VSNA Veershaivas in business arena with their brief profile and success stories for the business directory publication. Publish program details for the Forum. Work towards VSNA Chamber of Commerce establishment and make it a reality.  ADs are welcome for the business directory publication.

·     Seek Keynote Speakers and Panel Members: Members are encouraged and welcome to volunteer or nominate any possible VSNA business leaders for panel member or keynote speech. Committee will decide on the final selection.

·     Collaboration: Depending on the confirmation, committee will facilitate Karnataka Government/ industry representation. Facilitate for business interaction between businesses in USA and India to meet the decision makers.

·     Sponsors: Please contact for expo/booth sponsorship for business promotion
